Bulletin July 2009

'Pot Luck' initiative: Recently we invited one of our Interim Executives to drop into the office and have the floor for half an hour, to showcase his talent and talk to whoever was in the office about his skills and where he thought we should be opportunity spotting for him. It was a great success all round. So we thought we would extend the initiative and for the next 2 months run 'Pot Luck' for you, our community. You might get an audience of 1 or an audience of 10; you will get a sandwich and refreshment. So if you want to book yourself in for 'Pot Luck' any lunchtime during July or August, contact John McCarthy who will control the uptake and alert the troops to your impending presentation. You'll get half an hour to talk about your track record, what you want to do next, where best you think we could sell your skills, and handle some Q&A from your audience.

So far just 17 of our 9,000 bulletin recipients have donated on line for the Mutaro School project: http://www.youtube.com/Mutaro. With one free week's use of my holiday home in Ibiza up for raffle (www.cannicolas.com), that means they have a 1 in 17 chance of winning it! Incredibly good odds for them! Not such good odds of us getting this school built as we are still £35,000 short. So if you want a stab at what are still very good odds for winning that free week's use of the house in the sun drenched location of the World Heritage site Ibiza, donate just £10 or more through the Just Giving web site http://www.justgiving.com/rccf, let John know that you have, and you could be the winner of £2,500 worth of holiday accommodation in a 300 year old farmhouse. www.cannicolas.com

Recent assignment wins include Belgium and Dubai, as overseas destinations our Interim Executives are off to. Thank goodness for the more positive outlook in some overseas territories. I reckon we are 'bumping along the bottom' in the UK right now. However we have some great 'fight back' strategies coming through the pipeline.

Yours sincerely,

David Jensen
Chief Executive
